Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter Holds Dinner and Awards Night
MARIETTA, GA - On November 19, Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter held its annual
Thanksgiving Dinner and Awards Night.
This was the chapter's 8th annual dinner begun during the Master Councilor term of Adam Fowler.
Receiving merit bars were Chris Somers, Jake Somers, Peter Bard, Hunter
Arceneaux, and Adam Pfiefer. The trophy for Most Valuable Player at Spring Jam
was awarded to David Wellman for the second straight year.
The following Chapter awards were also given: Advisor of the Year, Dad Dana Schwarz,
Ritualist of the Year, Chris Somers, and DeMolay of the Year, Peter Bard.
A great meal was prepared by the members of the Parents Club and Advisory
Council. The evening featured a "year in review" slide show that was prepared
by Jake Somers using photos from both the Samuel Lawrence Website and from
Georgia DeMolay Online.
