SMC Makes Official Visit to Panthersville Chapter
STOCKBRIDGE, GA - The beautiful new lodge hall of Panthersville Lodge was the scene of
State Master Councilor Michael Griggers' official visit. Four members, two visitors from Samuel
S. Lawrence Chapter, and State Sweetheart Christina Cheatham were on hand to welcome the SMC.
State Chapter Dad Jim Bard was also on hand.
All four of the Panthersville Chapter members hold dual membership in Clayton Chapter, the
SMC's home chapter, so it was as if these guys were the alpha and omega of his official
visits. "You guys where there when I made my first official visit to Clayton Chapter and
here you are at my last official visit. It gives me great comfort to have such strong support
from my home Chapter."
The SMC noted that several Chapters in Georgia are starting up again and one new one is forming.
He encouraged the group to consider making a documentary about getting a chapter started. "The
father of the Master Councilor (Stephen Bohn) is the Executive Officer (Marc Bohn), one of your
Advisors (Jeremy Fowler) is a Past State Master Councilor and you have the first female Chapter
Advisor (Phyllis Calhoun) in the state. You have a rich set of resources to call upon to make
this video and it will greatly assist Lodges or Masons trying to start up a new chapter," the
SMC told the group.
