O'Neal Installed as Master Councilor
HAMPTON, GA - A long time veteran of Georgia DeMolay, James O'Neal, was
installed as the new Master Councilor of Clayton DeMolay Chapter on July 24.
James recently became a dual member of Clayton after seven years of being a
member of Middle Georgia Chapter, including rising to the rank of Master
Councilor of that Chapter. In his speech he commented that he was honored to be
selected to the top post by the members of a Chapter with Clayton's proud past. He
noted that Clayton is home to two State Officers, including the current State
Master Councilor Michael Griggers and two elected officers of Knighthood, including
the Illustrious Knight Commander, Alex Williams. He outlined an ambitious program for
his term. "I plan to apply for the Past Master Councilor Meritorious Service
Award. With your help we can do it." he announced.
The other officers installed were: Senior Councilor - Stuart Hendry, Junior Councilor - Stephen Carter, Senior Deacon – Stephen Bohn,
Junior Deacon – Thomas Derifield, Senior Steward – Dorian Ivey, Junior Steward – Justin Liddell, Chaplain - Brandon Derifield,
Marshal – Nicholas Bohn, Sentinel – Michael Griggers, and Standard Bearer – Alex Williams.
