State Master Councilor Drops In On Don R. Roberts Chapter
BRUNSWICK, GA - Newly installed State Master Councilor Michael Griggers was in the Brunswick area
on other business and made an unexpected unofficial visit on Don R. Roberts Chapter on July 26. It was
his first visit to a Chapter since becoming the State Master Councilor. Michael used the occasion
to congratulate DRR on their recent growth and to give them some pointers on how to select a storyline for the
DeMolay movie he is encouraging all chapters to make between now and Conclave 2006.
Master Councilor Kyle Corwin requested each of his members to bring five ideas to the next meeting to toss
around and discuss. Dad Roden said he had access to a camera. "We’re all set to make a DeMolay movie!" he said.
Mom and Dad Griggers and State Sweetheart Christina Cheatham also visited and enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers.
You can feel the excitement at Don R. Roberts Chapter as that Chapter’s new members are very enthusiastic about
DeMolay. Dad Griggers urged them to move forward on the "Highland Games" idea they have been working on as a possible Chapter sponsored
event with statewide participation. "I know you guys can do this with all this new talent at your disposal,"
Dad Griggers told them.
Dad Stephens, Michael, Dillon, Cody, Kyle, Carl and
Dad Roden all welcome SMC Griggers to DRR Chapter.
