DeMolays Attend Piedmont Lodge Appreciation Night
ATLANTA, GA - For the past 42 years, Piedmont Lodge has held an annual appreciation night
for the members of Eastern Star, DeMolay, and Rainbow. Close to 80 people
attended this long standing event to hear from leaders of these
organizations. State Senior Councilor Michael Griggers spoke on behalf of
DeMolay expressing his appreciation for the consistent support of Piedmont
Lodge and challenging the other lodges of Georgia to follow their example.
He ended his speech with the words, "And most of all, thank you for making
the choice to give your most precious gifts to the young men of DeMolay:
your time."
State Executive Officer Marc Bohn praised Masons for the recent increase in
their support. He noted that in the past year 20 new advisors had received
DAD training, which was more than the past 3 years combined.
Grand Worthy Advisor and Mountain Park Sweetheart Khrystle Rader said she
had chosen "friendship" as her theme for the year and outlined an interesting program.
Supreme Inspector Martha Hardison praised the Rainbow girls and challenged
the DeMolays with the following statement, "We have really beaten you guys
in membership this past year!" Ok, guys, the race is on. Let's round up
those new members and show what we can do!
