Georgia DeMolays Attend Old South Tournament
NEW ORLEANS, LA - DeMolays from three Chapters traveled to and represented
Georgia DeMolay at the Old South Ritual Tournament on the weekend of March 11-13.
They were joined by their brethren from across the country from Maine to Utah.
Attending the event were Todd Stovall and Paul Hunt (Mountain Park Chapter),
James O'Neal (Middle Georgia Chapter), and Peter Bard, Steven Higginbotham, and
Geoff Bard (Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter). The winners from the competition were:
Orator, Geoff Bard
All 7 Preceptors, Championship Level, Geoff Bard
Guy of Auvergne, Peter Bard
Senior Deacon, Initiatory Degree, Peter Bard
Recognition Pin Ceremony, Peter Bard and Steven Higginbotham
After a day of competition on Saturday the guys went out for dinner at Bubba Gump's
restaurant in the French Quarter and were accompanied by the members of RW Moore
Chapter from Utah.
James O'Neal participates with his brethren from
across the country in the Sunday morning devotional.
Peter Bard receives one of his first place awards.
