Mountain Park Hosts DeMolay "All-Stars"
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA - Many distinguished members and visitors were in attendance on July 20 for
Mountain Park Chapter's regular meeting to congratulate Christopher G. Eells on being elected the
38th International Master Councilor, and Julius K. Moody on being elected State Master Councilor.
Brother Moody was making his first official visit to Mountain Park Chapter. Over fifty
people were in attendance, including twelve members and five advisors of Mountain Park Chapter, to
help Brother Eric Scheel, the new Master Councilor of Mountain Park Chapter and his officers, welcome
Chris, Julius, and the following other important visitors: Geoff Bard, SJC; Todd Stovall, SSD; Richard Eells, SMar;
Kyle Corwin, SCh; Jennifer Moody, SSH; Dad Jim Bard, SCD; Dad Gary Vinson, Jr., Asst. SCD, PSMC;
Mom Sandra Moody.
The Chapter was also honored to have in attendance Dad Adam Roof, 34th International Congress Secretary,
Worshipful Master Dad Merrill Grennor of Mountain Park Lodge #729, numerous members of Mountain Park
Lodge, and Worshipful Master Dad Doug Kimbrell of Snellville Lodge #99. This was the first time those
in attendance could recall Mountain Park Chapter having at any single meeting two current or former
International Congress Officers and four current or former State Master Councilors. All those in attendance
were very impressed with the floor work of the Mountain Park members and the way they conducted themselves
at the meeting. This is remarkable since new chapter officers were installed only last month. One visiting
Mason commented that he would be delighted to see the caliber of floor work our young men exhibited in any
Masonic Lodge he visited! All shared a wonderful meal prepared by the Mountain Park Parent's Club.
