Order of Knighthood Holds Weekend of Fun, Fellowship

WARM SPRINGS, GA - Seven Sir Knights, one of their Squires, and two Advisors besieged the Roosevelt Center for Rehabilitation in Warm Springs for the State Priory of Georgia's JOUST 2002. Illustrious Knight Commander Perry Bennett planned another outstanding weekend of boisterous board games and brotherhood-building activities to stimulate excitement in Georgia's Knighthood Program. Those in attendance enjoyed the beautiful weather and facilities at Camp Dream once again. Food was plentiful over the weekend with and abundance of junkfood and candy. The Knights spent time conversing on the pier and hanging out lakeside. Back at Lanier Cabin the Knights and Squire played many games of Monopoly, RISK, Chess, built racecars, and watched the movie: Dragonheart. Later on Saturday Night- they enjoyed an awesome cookout of "super-burgers" and hot dogs, and played games well into the night whinch included the annual State Priory of Georgia RISK Championship Tournament. When asked about the weekend, Sir Knight and Squire Commander Brian Eidson replied, that it "was definitely the most exciting and fun-filled weekend of the Knighthood calendar. I can't wait for next year's Joust!"
