Order of Knighthood Holds Weekend of Fun, Fellowship
WARM SPRINGS, GA - Seven Sir Knights, one of their Squires, and two Advisors
besieged the Roosevelt Center for Rehabilitation in Warm Springs for the State
Priory of Georgia's JOUST 2002. Illustrious Knight Commander Perry Bennett planned
another outstanding weekend of boisterous board games and brotherhood-building
activities to stimulate excitement in Georgia's Knighthood Program. Those in
attendance enjoyed the beautiful weather and facilities at Camp Dream once again.
Food was plentiful over the weekend with and abundance of junkfood and candy. The
Knights spent time conversing on the pier and hanging out lakeside. Back at Lanier
Cabin the Knights and Squire played many games of Monopoly, RISK, Chess, built
racecars, and watched the movie: Dragonheart. Later on Saturday Night- they enjoyed
an awesome cookout of "super-burgers" and hot dogs, and played games well into the
night whinch included the annual State Priory of Georgia RISK Championship
Tournament. When asked about the weekend, Sir Knight and Squire Commander Brian Eidson
replied, that it "was definitely the most exciting and fun-filled weekend of the
Knighthood calendar. I can't wait for next year's Joust!"
