Clayton Chapter Captures Traveling Gavel
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA - In what has been a whirlwind of activity for the Traveling
Gavel/Gold Brick Program, members from the Clayton Chapter reclaimed their pride
on the evening of August 21 by visiting Mountain Park Chapter and recapturing the Traveling
Gavel. Mountain Park Chapter was only in possession of the Traveling Gavel for two days.
In just two weeks, the Traveling Gavel has changed hands four times. Mountain Park
Chapter Master Councilor Todd Stovall presented the Gavel to Clayton Chapter Master
Councilor Alex Williams who promptly countered with his own gift to the Chapter: the
Gold Brick. The Gavel is available for pickup at Clayton Chapter's regular meetings
on 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 7:00 pm in Ellenwood. For specific rules on the
